Newton of Fintray Livery Yard and Equine Training Centre, Kintore, Aberdeenshire
Newton of Fintray Livery and Training Centre is located approximately 12 miles from the City of Aberdeen and within 5 miles of the neighbouring towns of Kintore, Inverurie, Blackburn, Dyce and Newmachar (see map).
We welcome children as well as riders of all disciplines and at all levels of ability
We are situated within a lovely and peaceful 100 acre farm with picturesque native Scots pine woods sheltering the stables and arena.
Adjoining the farm is a forest with over 100 acres of quiet hacking.
Our livery yard is equipped with spacious stables housed within a larger, newly-built, 15m x 55m single-span shed fitted with automatic watering systems and rug racks. We also have a floodlit 22 x 60m outdoor arena with training mirrors, a full set of show jumps and a horse walker / exerciser. Read more on our Livery Facilities page.
The yard is run by BHSI-qualified instructor Jennifer Johnston who has many years of experience of high-level dressage and eventing and is an accredited British Dressage coach. Newton of Fintray farm has been in our family for 3 generations. Once a breeding farm for Aberdeen Angus cattle and subsequently a Poultry farm, it has recently opened as an equine livery business alongside the already existing training yard.
